Acceptable Usage Policy

This Acceptable Usage Policy (AUP) outlines the rules and guidelines for using the services provided by Avlanc ("we", "us", "our"). By using our services, you agree to comply with this AUP. Failure to adhere to this policy may result in suspension or termination of your account or services.

This policy applies to all services provided by Avlanc, including but not limited to Minecraft hosting, Virtual Dedicated Servers (VDS), web hosting, and other infrastructure solutions.

1. Prohibited Activities

You may not use our services to engage in any of the following activities:

a. Illegal Activities

• Hosting, distributing, or promoting content that violates any applicable laws or regulations.
• Engaging in fraud, identity theft, or other unlawful activities.

b. Harmful or Malicious Activities

• Distributing malware, viruses, or other harmful software.
• Launching Distributed Denial of Service (DDoS) attacks or any other form of cyberattack.
• Attempting to gain unauthorized access to systems, networks, or accounts.

c. Inappropriate Content

• Hosting or distributing content that is obscene, defamatory, hateful, or discriminatory.
• Promoting violence, harassment, or abuse of any kind.

d. Resource Abuse

• Overloading servers or systems with excessive resource usage, including CPU, memory, or bandwidth.
• Running resource-intensive applications without prior approval.

e. Spamming

• Sending unsolicited bulk emails or messages.
• Engaging in phishing or other deceptive practices.

2. Security and Integrity

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and services. This includes:

• Using strong passwords and enabling two-factor authentication (2FA) where available.
• Keeping your software, plugins, and scripts up to date to prevent vulnerabilities.
• Reporting any security breaches or vulnerabilities to Avlanc immediately.

3. Fair Usage

To ensure a high-quality experience for all users, you must adhere to the following fair usage guidelines:

• Do not use services in a manner that negatively impacts other users.
• Avoid excessive or unreasonable use of resources beyond what is allocated in your plan.
• Fair usage applies even to services with dedicated resource allocations (such as Virtual Dedicated Servers). Excessive load, abuse of I/O, or intentional resource overutilization may still result in warnings, throttling, or suspension at Avlanc’s discretion to protect infrastructure health.

4. Enforcement

Avlanc reserves the right to take appropriate action if you violate this AUP, including but not limited to:

• Issuing warnings or notices.
• Suspending or terminating your account or services.
• Reporting illegal activities to law enforcement authorities.

5. Reporting Violations

If you become aware of any violations of this AUP, please report them to us at owner@avlanc.com. Provide as much detail as possible to assist us in investigating the issue.

6. Amendments

We may update this AUP from time to time to reflect changes in our services or legal requirements. Updates will be posted on our website, and continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
